Welcome to Table Mesa
A family-centered enclave of highly sought-after real estate and the best schools in the area
Nested in the vibrant heart of South Boulder — known colloquially as SoBo — the neighborhood of Table Mesa is renowned for its easy-going residents and the amazing breadth of open space. Hikes through the Flatirons reveal sweeping views of the Eldorado Canyon, and homes sit before the broad slopes of South Boulder Peak. Buttressed by State Highway 93, Table Mesa has the advantage of quick access to the lively downtown district as well as many neighboring communities.
What began as a suburb of the city, crafted for those looking to pull away from the urban busyness, has since blossomed into a top neighborhood for families, replete with its own accouterment of retail and dining. Table Mesa also houses the best elementary school in Boulder, in addition to its impressive collection of other top-notch schools, and has become a frontrunner in the city’s education system.
Table Mesa is perhaps one of the most affordable neighborhoods in Boulder and comes with a bevy of options for housing that ranges from new-build townhomes and single-family residences to well-appointed apartments. Craftsman bungalows, spacious ranches, and large detached estate homes are all in good supply in Table Mesa, and families, in particular, will appreciate the wonderful pricing of three and four-bedroom homes.

People & Lifestyle
Tree-lined residential streets, well-maintained front lawns, and backyards populated with swing sets and pools all contribute to the cheerful, family-oriented aesthetic of Table Mesa. More than just its phenomenal schools and affordable homes, Table Mesa is also a highly-valued spot for outdoor enthusiasts and hikers who benefit from the many nearby parks and trails.
Dining, Shopping, & Entertainment
When you’re in need of some local retail therapy, the quickest option is to visit the Table Mesa Shopping Center, whose directory includes everything from yoga studios and art centers to Whole Foods and stores stocked with camping gear. All of your beauty supplies and health needs are catered to at Pharmaca, a local retailer of makeup, bath and body, supplements, and more.
Also housed within the Table Mesa Shopping Center are quite a few restaurants and dining venues whose cuisine draws inspiration from around the world. Tandoori Grill mixes a few Western flavors into the authentic Indian fare on their menu, and all of their dishes are fueled by locally sourced ingredients.
For an effervescent environment and satiating pub foods, Southern Sun Pub & Brewery never fails to hit the spot. Rather than the typical assortment of sports channels blasting from overhang televisions, the owners at Southern Sun choose to supply their diners with bookshelves full of board games and novels to facilitate a spirit of togetherness and encourage intellectual growth. Considered among Boulder’s favorite breakfast restaurants, Walnut Cafe is filled with an enthusiastic crowd of pancake lovers and coffee connoisseurs each morning.
